These terms describe how you may browse, contribute to and reuse the data published on Halal Open Food Facts.
1. Community spirit
The site is run by volunteers. By contributing, you agree that your additions may be reviewed, modified or deleted to ensure the quality of the shared information.
2. Reuse of the data
The data is provided under the Open Database License (ODbL). Any reuse must credit Halal Open Food Facts and Open Food Facts, share improvements alike and comply with local laws.
3. Responsibilities
The information is provided "as is". Halal statuses are calculated from the labels and ingredients entered by contributors; they are not certifications: each user remains responsible for checking whether a product complies and for asking manufacturers for official information.
